چکیده

Banana micropropagation for obtaining free-virus plants frequently provokes somaclonal variation that could increase useful genetic variability in this asexually propagated crop. Both exploring the cycle of vitro culture which occurs and amount generated polymorphism, are necessary. In work, preliminary results during early cycles banana reported. Four randomly selected regenerated from fifth two samples mother plant were analyzed. A total 36 AFLP primer combinations assayed, 24 them produced amplicons varying among 50- 500 bp. The presented a 125 different while jointly showed 131 with mean 119.75 ± 3.97 per individual. High level DNA polymorphism (24.43 %) was found micropropagated and, additionally, occurrence at earlier suggested by multivariate analysis Principal Coordinates. study, validated adequacy technique to assess it molecular verified. phenotypic effects detected variations remain be evaluated.

Genetic diversity of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae assessed by amplified fragment length polymorphism analysis.

Amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) was evaluated as a method for genotypic characterization and subtyping within the bacterial species Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae. A total of 155 isolates of A. pleuropneumoniae, representing the serotypic variation described to occur within this species, were analyzed. In order to elucidate the species boundaries, six strains of the phylogenetica...

Epidemiology of human sporotrichosis investigated by amplified fragment length polymorphism.

Amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) was used to analyze the genetic diversity of Peruvian strains of Sporothrix schenckii and to compare them to a panel of non-Peruvian strains. AFLP analysis suggests that the Peruvian strains can be divided into two homogeneous clusters with no reference to geographical origin or the clinical form of sporotrichosis. The strains from abroad present he...

DNA variation in the wild plant Arabidopsis thaliana revealed by amplified fragment length polymorphism analysis.

To investigate the level and pattern of DNA variation of Arabidopsis thaliana at the entire genome level, AFLP analysis was conducted for 38 ecotypes distributed throughout the world. Ten pairs of selective primers were used to detect a total of 472 bands, of which 374 (79. 2%) were polymorphic. The frequency distribution of polymorphic bands was skewed toward an excess of singleton variation. ...

Genetic variability of the stable fly assessed on a global scale using amplified fragment length polymorphism.

The stable fly, Stomoxys calcitrans (L.) (Diptera: Muscidae), is a blood-feeding, economically important pest of animals and humans worldwide. Improved management strategies are essential and their development would benefit from studies on genetic diversity of stable flies. Especially if done on a global scale, such research could generate information necessary for the development and applicati...

Amplified fragment length polymorphism and metabolomic profiles of hairy roots of Psoralea corylifolia L.

A reproducible protocol for establishment of hairy root cultures of Psoralea corylifolia L. was developed using Agrobacterium rhizogenes strain ATCC 15834. The hairy root clones exhibited typical sigmoid growth curves. Genomic and metabolomic profiles of hairy root clones along with that of untransformed control were analysed. Hairy root clones, Ps I and Ps II, showed significant differences in...
